Financial Literacy
DreamCity is currently working with multiple partners to begin financial seminars and workshops for young adults and their families.
The importance of FINANCIAL LITERACY (the ability of individuals to make appropriate decisions in managing their personal finances) in our communities is only comparable to the importance of LITERACY (the ability to read, write, and comprehend the written word).
In order for today's generation and future generations of Americans to become independent and self-sufficient, we must begin to make fundamental and revolutionary changes in our lifestyles. We are global citizens, yet our efforts must begin and remain concentrated locally.
Incremental and tedious progress in our lives and communities must be replaced by a renewed capacity for exponential and rapid growth.
This personal growth and development, which in turn elevates our families, communities, and workplaces, will come from education.
